Public registers

The Occupational Regulation team within MBIE administers public occupational registers that publish the names, contact and licence details of independently qualified pool inspectors, auctioneers and motor vehicle traders, as well as the occupations of registered motor vehicle traders.

Trading Standards publishes a register of marine fuel suppliers listed by port, detailing the contact phone number for suppliers, delivery method, fuel type and sulphur content of the fuel. The register is required by regulation 18.9.1 of MARPOL Annex VI of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships.

Trading Standards also publishes a list of Accredited Persons who can test weighing or measuring equipment. This includes the Accredited Person's business name, contact phone number, email address and website (if applicable).
